Pruksa is committed to create sustainable growth under the concept of “PRUKSA… Heart to Home, Tomorrow. Reimagined” by focusing on 3 core principles according to global megatrends, namely lifestyle disruption, health & wellness trends and sustainability development.
Pruksa strategically focuses on sustainable business model. The company has recently joined hands with Gunkul Engineering Public Company Limited to establish a joint venture company under the name “Pun New Energy Company Limited” with a shareholding ratio of 50:50. This collaboration with Gunkul Engineering is an extension and creates new strengths for Pruksa’s projects. This business’s goal is to sell and install solar roof models, both Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Private Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The project value is around 1,500 million baht. This can help clients reduce their investment and use electricity from renewable energy, including providing an electricity bill calculation that helps reduce this expense for clients as well. The services could serve more than 12,500 households and reduce approximately 126,000 tons of CO2 emissions within 5 years. Moreover, there is a plan to experiment with a village model that uses solar energy instead of electricity and to expand into an energy storage technology business in the future. This is considered to be beneficial to the residents in saving electricity costs and helping to preserve the environment in the long run.
