Areeya Property Launches 8 New Projects for the 2nd Half of the Year and Reveals 5 Consumer Trends for Real Estate Business

Areeya Property, Thailand’s leading real estate company, launches 8 new projects for the 2nd half of the year, with over 7,275 million baht worth, and a new campaign “Areeya: Happiness is in the Air” to correspond with 5 new consumer trends in 2018 that the real estate industry should be aware of.

Mr. Viwat Laohapoonrungsee, Executive Director of Areeya Property PLC. has revealed about the consumer and real estate trends that nowadays the technology has rapidly advanced and as the consequence, the consumer behaviors are changing. The real estate industry has adapted to the trends which can be summarized into 5 major trends as follows: 1) Cashless society: A fresh, rising trend in Bangkok and other major cities, 2) Automation becoming the new norm: Automated systems designed to streamline activities and provide convenience are becoming a convention for everyone, 3) Ultra – High – Net – Worth – Individuals meets ultra-luxury real estate market: The luxurious taste that takes products and services to the next level, 4) Seek for green & clean living: Good, nature-oriented livelihood that focuses on better well-being, and 5) Life at home begins after sales: After sales services are becoming the main factor when deciding to buy a new house. The last trend has been most observed in the real estate industry. Consumers appreciate prompt and efficient after sales services and the use of applications to reduce unnecessary steps. However, they still fancy the considerate after sales services of the juristic persons and staff. Home warranty is also an important factor.

 

The 5 trends correspond with the 4 business strategies which include aesthetic design and premium quality, sustainable happiness, innovative living, and best-in-class after sales service. We are always ready and willing to adapt and keep up with the consumer trends.

 

Mr. Viwat has revealed the overall performance during the 1st half of the year that the company has earned a total sales revenue of 4,852 million baht, of which 3,107 million or 65% came from housing development project sales, and 1,745 baht or 35% came from condominium development project sales. The performance met the target of 10% growth and has been corresponding with the real estate market. The sales in the 2nd half of the year is expected to reach 5,045 million baht, resulting in the total annual sales of over 10,000 million baht.

In addition, in the 2nd half of the year, Areeya Property will launch 8 new projects of 7,275 million baht in total, which include The Village Bangna, COMO PRIMO Bangna, The Colors Bangna and Bangbuatong, Mandarina Ekamai-Ramintra, A Space Mega Bangna 2 Condominium, The Parti Kaset-Nawamin, and Busaba, the only detached house estate on Sereethai Road.

 

The highlights are Mandarina Ekamai-Ramintra – a 950 million baht modern tropical town home estate with the selling price starting at 7.5 million baht, The Parti Kaset-Nawamin a 800 million baht home office estate that caters for the convenience-oriented lifestyle of the modern working generation with the starting price of 11.9 million baht, and A Space Mega Bangna 2 – the 2nd phase condominium development following the well-received 1st phase after 100% of the deals have been successfully closed. The total investment is 2,500 million baht while the starting price is 1.79 million baht.

As for the business plan implementation in the 2nd half of the year, the company has launched a new campaign called “Areeya: Happiness is in the Air” to acknowledge the modern taste, physical and mental health care trend of the urban residents. The campaign has been launched since 14 September. Moreover, Areeya’s main website, www.areeya.co.th, has also been transformed to accommodate the company’s new image. It is now more modern, with information finding made faster and easier for better efficiency.

 

However, Areeya continues to focus on the concept of sustainable happiness. Various activities have been launched, such as Green and Clean which emphasizes on 2 ways of being smart – the smart clean air and energy saving technology, with Panasonic providing the Clean Living technology to clean and purify the air in the house to be free of germs while help save the energy, and the smart self-managed home automation at fingertips technology. Another activity is the Recycle Day, with an application developed to assist the residents with garbage separation, which has been extremely well-responsed.
