The “Open Market: USE LOOP REPEAT: BETTER-LOOK MARKET”, organized by OPEN HOUSE Co-living Space in collaboration with Loopers, a platform for passing on secondhand clothing, returned for its second year at OPEN HOUSE, Level 6, Central Embassy.

The event has become a new destination for eco-conscious fashion lovers and the younger generation seeking a style that is all about “Looking Good with Meaning.” The atmosphere was filled with creative energy from participants who came to shop for conscious lifestyle products, join workshops, and take part in discussions that opened fresh perspectives on the meaning of ‘shopping mindfully, spending with value, and sharing inspiration for a better world’.

The event’s spirit made the idea of Better Look, Better Life & Better Planet more than just a concept, it became a tangible lifestyle with every small choice weaving together to become a driving force to make both ourselves and our world better in a meaningful way.

The highlight of the event was the MINDFUL CRAFT, FASHION & LIFESTYLE MARKET ZONE, curated by Friends of Loopers and featuring more than 30 shops. From durable tech products by Aukey, fashion and accessories made from recycled materials by Wastic, MYW Accessories, Dash., Rubberidea, and Akanef Form; to stylish home goods from Onest and Qualy; wellness products from Grab n’ Grow and Everyday; and eco-friendly essentials from Bygge Solutions, No Plastic Shop, and Triple BEEs Wrap, there was something for every environmentally conscious shopper.

Visitors were also able to discover beauty and skincare must-haves from Grab n’ Grow, Everyday, Ira Thailand, Dare & Bare, and Fineday Sunscreen, along with unique crafts from Craft Colour. More than just a marketplace, this event was a hub of inspiration filled with ideas to take home and put into practice, turning every purchase into a valuable step toward a sustainable lifestyle. Shoppers were also able to continue browsing and buying products online through the Loopers app.

In addition, there were more than 20 OPEN WORKSHOPS held throughout the event. Highlights included workshops such as Bring ‘Bag’ To Life, which gives pre-loved clothes a second life as uniquely designed bags, and the Workshop by Fair Chocolate, where participants experienced the rich flavors of Thai chocolate, both of which received overwhelming positive feedback.

Moreover, the following week’s activities provided even more excitement. The Reading Club by Bangkok Literature & Arts Festival: SUSTAINABILITY invited readers to exchange books and share perspectives on sustainable living in a thought-provoking atmosphere. Craft with Heart, Talk with Hand offered a creative collaboration with hearing-impaired students from Ratchasuda College, Mahidol University, fostering understanding through sign language and craftwork. Meanwhile, Own Your Colour, Define Your Type encouraged participants to discover their true shades and personal styles, helping to reduce unnecessary shopping. Each workshop went beyond fun, becoming a space for self-discovery and deeper connection with the world around us.

The atmosphere at The Steps was just as lively, energized by an audience attending OPEN TALKS. One of the highlights was a conversation with Peach Pachara Chirathivat—the actor, entrepreneur, and founder of a social enterprise—on the theme “Believe It. See It. Do It — From Belief to Results, Step by Step.” He shared his journey of running a food business alongside social initiatives, driven by the belief that everyone should have access to quality food at an affordable price. This philosophy resonates with Loopers’ mission of making quality fashion accessible to all. The talk inspired listeners to see that balancing multiple roles is not difficult when guided by a strong core belief and that “even the smallest belief can create real, lasting change.” It added a powerful and meaningful dimension to this edition of OPEN TALKS.

Another engaging session was “Buying and Being,” featuring Na Naphat Wichairungroj, actor and model, together with Mon Namon Narukhatphichai, a content creator focused on self-love and smart living. They shared perspectives of being consumers who seek to adapt their lifestyles in ways that benefit both themselves and the planet sustainably. They emphasized that everyone has choices they can start making right now, and sustainable living shouldn’t be seen as difficult—it’s something we can all practice every day. The discussion highlighted how deeper self-understanding can be the starting point for making mindful choices, purchases and practices that support personal well-being while creating a lifestyle that is both repeatable and sustainable.

The event continues throughout September with a series of WEEKEND TALKS, held every Saturday at Honeyful Café, featuring thought-provoking themes designed to inspire reflection and action. The program kicks off with “WEAR YOUR VALUE,” inviting participants to explore personal style as a reflection of their values. Next, “STAY COOL IN A BOILING WORLD”, shares practical ways to maintain balance and peace of mind in turbulent times. “DOER IN SURVIVAL MODE”, shares about what it’s like to balance many roles in today’s working life. Finally, “EAT | EXERCISE | ENDURANCE” decodes the meaning of self-love through sustainable care for both body and mind empowering audiences with insights they can put into practice.

Every activity of “USE LOOP REPEAT” reinforces the message that sustainable change begins with small, everyday choices. Whether it’s shopping, creating, or sharing good ideas, each action reflects the concept of Better Look, Better Life & Better Planet in a tangible way.

The “Open Market – USE LOOP REPEAT: BETTER LOOK-MARKET” runs until 30 September 2025 at OPEN HOUSE, Level 6, Central Embassy and admission is free!

Come explore new styles, spark your creativity, and enjoy a lifestyle that’s good for both yourself and the planet, then share your perspective with #UseLoopRepeat2025
