The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is now encouraging bookings for its Open House period as it opens the doors of the brand-new Bangkok Thailand Temple to the public for a limited period from September 1-16, 2023.
The Open House is a rare opportunity for anyone, regardless of faith, to be welcomed and have the unique chance to see and experience the Temple interior and share the joy with Church members.
The Bangkok Thailand Temple is the first temple of its kind for the Church in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Once the Temple is dedicated following the Open House period, it will only be open to faithful Church members.
Those wishing to visit are invited to book a slot online, free of charge. Upon arrival at the designated time and date, attendees with bookings should follow the directional signs and check-in. No eating, drinking or smoking are allowed inside the Temple or Temple grounds, and visitors are requested to dress respectfully in accordance with the Temple’s sanctity.
The Temple is wheelchair accessible. However, parking is limited, and use of public transport is encouraged.
The general public can book free tours from September 1-16, excluding Sundays, at BangkokTemple.ChurchofJesusChrist.org. However, walk-ins to the Temple will not be turned away during this period.
