RML (Raimon Land Public Company Limited) announces the appointment of Mr. Sorrapong Mamuang as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective July 1, 2024. Additionally, Mr. Samphan Aranyanart and Miss Jenita Chobtuangtong have been appointed as Independent Directors and Audit Committee Members to strengthen the business.

Sorrapong will be responsible for all financial and accounting operations at RML. He will play a key role in developing the company’s financial strategy and maintaining a robust balance sheet by focusing on financial planning, generating strong returns, implementing stringent risk management controls, and optimizing operational costs.

Recent policy proposals from the Thai government, such as extending long-term land leases to 99 years and allowing foreign ownership of condominiums up to 75%, all bode well for the sector and RML.”

Mr. Sorrapong brings extensive experience from leading banks both domestically and internationally, including The Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited, The KASIKORNBANK Public Company Limited, Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited, and Bank of China (Thailand) Public Company Limited. His expertise encompasses strategic business development, investor relations, risk management, and corporate credit analysis.

Additionally, during the Board of Directors’ meetings No. 6-7/2024 on May 2 and 14, 2024, Miss Jenita Chobtuangtong and Mr. Samphan Aranyanart were appointed as Independent Directors and Audit Committee Members.

Following these appointments, RML will have a total of three audit committee members as follows:

1. Oranuch Apisaksirikul, Chairperson of the Audit Committee

2. Miss Jenita Chobtuangtong, Audit Committee Member

3. Samphan Aranyanart, Audit Committee Member

These appointments, including the new CFO, additional Independent Directors, and Audit Committee Members, will support a robust governance structure for RML’s executive team and audit committee, driving the company towards sustainable growth.
