Frasers Property Thailand partners Mitsui Fudosan to invest in burgeoning industrial opportunities, plans new phase in 2025
The Industrial business of Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited, or “FPT” has advanced its strategic partnership with Mitsui Fudosan Asia Development (Thailand) to develop a Free Zone Warehouse distribution centre in Chachoengsao Province to serve new S-Curve business customers. Officially launched in November 2024, the distribution centre has attracted significant investor interest from international logistics service providers with sustained tenant sign-ups.
Mr. Peerapat Srisukont, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the industrial business of FPT, stated that FPT has jointly invested with Mitsui Fudosan Asia Development (Thailand) Company Limited to develop a Free Zone Warehouse at Bangna 2 Logistics Park. The facility, which was completed and officially launched in November 2024, has garnered substantial interest from international logistics service providers.
The distribution centre is located in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), a strategic logistics hub in Thailand, situated on Bangna-Trad KM 46, Bang Pakong District in Chachoengsao Province. The building offers over 25,000 sqm of highly flexible space that accommodates businesses’ diverse storage and distribution needs. Developed according to the Thai Green Building Institute’s TREES (Thai’s Rating of Energy and Environmental Sustainability) standards, the facility possesses ESG features to support efficient energy and resource management. With its attractive location and features, FPT has already secured an Australian New S-Curve industry tenant.
The collaboration marks Phase 2 of the development of Bangna 2 Logistics Park and follows FPT and Mitsui Fudosan Asia Development (Thailand)’s successful initial development of a 21,000 sqm warehouse in the General Zone in 2022, which achieved 100% occupancy. Plans are in place to develop Phase 3 next year.
