SIMMONS Expands in Thailand with Launch of “Simmons Gallery Thonglor”Elevates Premium Sleep Experience and Strategic Market Positioning in Southeast Asia
Simmons, the iconic American mattress brand trusted by luxury hotels worldwide, is accelerating its footprint in Thailand with the launch of its latest showroom, Simmons Gallery Thonglor. Located in the heart of Bangkok’s prime Sukhumvit 55 district, the 270-square-meter flagship store reinforces the brand’s strategy to capture growth in Southeast Asia’s expanding premium sleep economy.
The new opening complements Simmons’ established presence at Crystal Design Center (CDC), which has served as a retail and hospitality hub for over a decade. Simmons Gallery Thonglor introduces the latest locally assembled Beautyrest Prime & Platinum Series and BeautySleep Essential Series, offering greater accessibility to premium sleep solutions for both retail and B2B customers.
Mr. Aloysius Chew, General Manager (Regional Business), Simmons SEA Pte Ltd, commented:
“Southeast Asia, and Thailand in particular, represent high-growth opportunities for Simmons. The opening of Simmons Gallery Thonglor is a strategic investment in customer proximity and showroom innovation. Designed with a dual-purpose layout—including a dedicated second floor for hotel and institutional clients—it allows customers to experience our mattresses firsthand, reflecting our core belief that a superior product must be felt to be understood.”
New Product Strategy: Local Assembly for Market Responsiveness
Simmons is also launching two new product lines that are assembled in Thailand using imported Japanese Pocketed Coil systems:
– Beautyrest Prime & Platinum Series – Accessible luxury line, priced from THB 65,000
– BeautySleep Essential Series – Entry-level series, priced from approximately THB 25,000
These complement Simmons’ ultra-premium imported lines, such as the Beautyrest Black and BackCare series, starting at THB 150,000. The localized manufacturing strategy is designed to improve delivery timelines (Just-in-Time fulfilment), reduce import costs, and meet increasing demand from Thailand’s high-end residential and hospitality sectors.
