Cloud 11 announced its plan to invest 3,000 million baht more in its project, bringing its total value to 43,000 million baht. The additional investment focuses on Creative Facilities to create a fully-fledged comprehensive hub for the creative industry as well as District Infrastructure to establish South Sukhumvit as an ultimate ‘Creative & Innovation District’ for Thailand’s creative and soft power industry. With over 80% of its construction complete, Cloud 11 is set to open its doors to the public in late 2025.

Mr. Onza Janyaprasert, Project Director of Cloud 11, said, “We have injected 3,000 million baht more into Cloud 11 project in response to the upward trend of the creative industry in Asia, including Thailand. With the additional investment, 2,000 million baht will go to the development of Creative Facilities while the remaining 1,000 million baht will be spent on the development of South Sukhumvit as a new creative & innovation district. Cloud 11 has received long-term project financing from Bangkok Bank.”

Mr. Paul Sirisant, Managing Director of Cloud 11, said, “Cloud 11 is dedicated to building Thailand’s most comprehensive Creative Ecosystem, where creators and industry professionals can create, collaborate, and elevate their ideas through state-of-the-art Creative Facilities cater to every stage of the creative process, from upstream to downstream, making Cloud 11 the ultimate empowering hub for creators and elevating Thai content to the global market.”

For the upstream sector, Cloud 11 is determined to foster the Creative Talent Community via its Academy Endeavor. Renowned institutes will collaborate here to train and equip learners with the skills needed for professional excellence. For example, Cloud 11 has collaborated with 1500 Sound Academy by Mr. James Fauntleroy, an American producer with Hollywood background, to set up its first school for artists and musicians in Thailand.

For the midstream sector, Cloud 11 aims to become the ultimate Content Production Hub. With its Creator Village offering spaces tailored to the needs of creative businesses, Cloud 11 is now investing further in its Creative Facilities. These will include fully equipped Creator Studios and Production Studios for audio, video, and post-production. Additionally, Cloud 11 will also integrate Creative Co-working where creators can simply plug in their computers via LAN and efficiently edit content and render projects with ease.

For the downstream sector, Cloud 11 is setting up exhibition and commercialization spaces to empower creators. Significant investments have been made in the Cloud 11 Hall and Blackbox Theatre, offering emerging artists prime platforms to showcase their talents. Additionally, Passion Playground, a retail space, will provide opportunities to enhance creators’ commercial potential. There are opportunities for entrepreneurial creators to set up their own shops and monetize their work. Cloud 11 Park will also serve as a dynamic venue for creators to exhibit their creations and host events year-round.”

Cloud 11 truly aims to become a Creative Destination for Creativity of All Kinds. Embracing Empowering Creators concept, it will elevate Thailand’s creative industry to international standards through its nine key highlights with solid infrastructure and great facilities that are tailored to the needs of the creative workforce.

“Cloud 11 is not only crafting spaces to support the creative work and lifestyles of creators but is also developing the project in alignment with MQDC’s ‘For All Well-being’ philosophy. In the design of Cloud 11, we focus on minimizing environmental impact while promoting community development. As part of this vision, we have allocated an additional 1 billion baht to enhance the infrastructure of the surrounding neighborhood, aiming to transform South Sukhumvit into a true Creative & Innovation District that supports Thailand’s creative and soft power industries. The development will include improvements to canals, small parks, footpaths along Sukhumvit Road and surrounding lanes, as well as continued collaborations with creative events such as Bangkok Design Week. Cloud 11 is proud to partner with the Thailand Creative Culture Agency (THACCA) to drive growth in the area through close connection with both the government and local communities, reinforcing our commitment to building a thriving creative ecosystem and inclusivity.” Mr. Onza said.

Cloud 11 has been meticulously designed with attention to every detail. Snøhetta, a world-renowned Norwegian design studio, serves as a consultant to Thailand’s leading architectural design firm, A49 (Architects 49 Limited) in this project. The construction is overseen by Thai Obayashi Corporation.

Mr. Apisit Rojanapradit, Project Manager and Site Engineer of Thai Obayashi said, “Thai Obayashi has solid strengths namely Japanese construction standards, the use of innovative and cutting-edge construction technology, and over 50 years of experience. Investors thus can be rest assured that our efficient operations and rigorous inspections will deliver high-quality and safe constructions.

“For Cloud 11, we have integrated several safety technology and innovations. For example, we have utilized Box Girders Beam to efficiently distribute the building’s weight to columns or foundations. We have also employed Steel Reinforced Concrete (SRC), which combines steel structures with reinforced concrete, to enhance strength, cutting force, flexibility and safety of the building particularly in terms of structural movement caused by earthquakes. After a quake hit in late March, our engineers inspected Cloud 11 structure and found no damage caused by the tremor. The building remains intact and strong, providing tenants with absolute confidence in the project’s safety.”

Currently, Cloud 11 development has already completed its structural engineering phase and is now advancing with interior fit-out works. With overall progress reaching 80%, the handover of retail space to tenants will begin in June to allow for interior decoration. The full development is on track for completion by late 2025, paving the way for a grand opening and full-scale operations.

In addition, Cloud 11 is proud to welcome key partners like theCOMMONS – which will operate theCOMMONS Cloud 11 across 5,420 square meters of space on its fourth floor. Designed around the concept, “South Sukhumvit’s Backyard”, this new destination will blend theCOMMONS’s strength in building a Wholesome Community with Cloud 11’s mission of Empowering Creators. theCOMMONS Cloud 11 will feature five main zones, offering spaces for creativity, exhibition, work and relaxation. —all thoughtfully designed to support the creative lifestyle.

Another key partner YOTEL, —a global smart hotel brand— will make it first Thailand debut at Cloud 11. YOTEL Bangkok, designed to redefine the leisure experience, guests will enjoy a seamless journey from the check-in to the check-out, offering an indulging experiences in the “Heart of Innovation and Technology”.
