RISC applies on its research to launch “Fahsai Mini”, an Air-Purifying Tower to reduce Particles & Germs Available to purchase at Dsupreme by December 2021
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singh Intrachooto, Chief Advisor to Research & Innovation to Sustainability Center (RISC) by MQDC, revealed that RISC has continued to conduct research under the principle of “sustainnovation” to enhance well-being for all life, building on the success of 2 “Fahsai” models to develop “Fahsai Mini”, a smaller air-purifier that is easier to move and install with similar in performance. “Fahsai Mini” will be available for purchase through Dsupreme affiliates from December 2021 to tackle air pollution, especially PM 2.5 and airborne microbes.
“RISC is a research and innovation center for sustainable well-being of all life. Its research findings are not only used by MQDC but also publicly available to benefit society. We developed and built the first generation of “Fahsai I”, a city-level air-purification tower, in 2020. In 2021, it was developed into “Fahsai II” to boost effectiveness against bacteria and viruses. Another development to keep up with the situation by experimenting and enhancing efficiency resulted in “Fahsai Mini”, a smaller version that can be applied in any urban environment with high population density. Our goal is to contribute to the solution of air pollution and expand to more areas,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singh.
Fahsai Mini is one of several research outcomes from RISC under its 7 Key Strategies for Health & Wellness, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals of Good Health and Well-Being, Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Life on Land.
Mr. Vithit Arparpardh, President of Dsupreme, said “Dsupreme is delighted to have been selected by RISC to distribute Fahsai Mini, which helps reduce air pollution, PM2.5, and germs, which are on the rise as the year ends. The device also promotes a healthy environment for Thais. The air purifier is expected to be available to purchase from December 2021.”
Businesses and other organizations interested in Fahsai Mini can get more details on 061-789-2687, or through https://deessupreme.co.th/.
“Fahsai Mini” applies a wet scrubber system to build a prototype hybrid air purifier tower that combines 800 watts of solar panels with grid power to reduce its electricity demand during the day. The device is designed for environmental health and sustainability and to enhance human well-being. It was developed based on the 2 previous Fahsai models by being smaller for easier transportation and installation while providing similar capacity to purify the air of PM2.5 and kill bacteria, fungi, and viruses.
