The Forestias by MQDC works with “GMM Grammy” on groundbreaking music track to deliver sustainable happiness

MQDC (Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited) – a property developer with proven excellence in investing in, developing, and managing highly regarded residential and mixed-use projects – announces an innovative musical collaboration for THE FORESTIAS by MQDC, Thailand’s first development based on a balanced natural ecosystem to provide happiness for all lives. Mr. Kittiphun Ouiyamaphun, Senior Vice President of THE FORESTIAS, said: “As we have planned to strategically commence our marketing and communications initiatives for ‘THE FORESTIAS by MQDC’ by presenting a story of happiness at our project from different viewpoints under an ‘Imagine Happiness’ core concept, we are further expanding our communication to the new territory of music, so we can spark wide awareness of ‘THE FORESTIAS by MQDC’, specifically for happiness, nature, and the environment. This is an outstanding opportunity for MQDC as we are working with ‘Atom Chanakan’, a heartthrob singer and songwriter from White Music, a record label under the management of GMM Grammy. This special project can deliver a blissful impression of happiness through music. Our song begins with the question ‘What is your definition of true happiness?’. It concludes that, ‘True happiness is not easy to define as each person has a different view. Yet happiness must be shared by each of us, the others around us, and the environment, since this is a foundation for sustainable happiness’. Our special single, ‘Feel Like Home’, in sync with the philosophy of THE FORESTIAS by MQDC.

“In addition to Atom, the song ‘Feel Like Home’ is exclusively co-performed by Burin Boonvisut, a music icon who is collaborating on a song with Atom for the second time. The song is composed and produced by Mr. Kawin Intawong, a talented music producer, who has realized this song as an ear-soothing pop tune with a twist of soul. The melody and lyrics are heartwarming, against a backdrop of guitar. The song is about a person fulfilled by love through the course of life. Love can be compared to a large tree that takes years to grow but can withstand extreme weather. The love growing in our hearts is like a large house filled with family members from great-grandparents to grandchildren or even great-grandchildren. Happiness thus can turn the whole household into a haven where each person finds love and peace in harmony with the refrain ‘You’re the one that makes me Feel Like Home’.”

 

MQDC also brings to life different views of happiness through a video directed by Mr. Don Padungvichean, a veteran music video director famed for works including “Chuck Din Chuck Ngor” by Ploychompoo, “Nirun” by Bodyslam featuring with Palmy, “Jing Jai Wai Gorn” by Mai Charoenpura (B.A.D Award Thailand recognition), “Jing Mai Klua” by Christina Aguilar (MTV Asia Award recognition), “Sia Jai Dai Yin Mai” by Mai Charoenpura (Channel V Thailand Award recognition), and “Too Much So Much Very Much” by Thongchai “Bird” McIntyre. The video story tells four captivating stories of an extended family with great-grandparents to grandchildren. These stories, complementing the story in the music video, depict obstacles in each key phase of life that every family can relate to. The video shows resolutions to all the stories to reiterate a notion that every life obstacle can be gradually overcome by love, life bonds, and understanding among all family members. The characters in both the video story and music video have relationships with pets, wild animals, and an urban forest, linking each story in a cycle of happiness. A budget of 20 million baht has been allocated to publicize the single, music video, and video story. MQDC sees happiness from listening to a good song as a pure happiness that can quickly reach the heart. MQDC will partner with GMM Grammy to promote the song “Feel Like Home” and its music video on channels managed by GMM Grammy including television shows airing on ONE and GMM25, radio spots, and lead-ins by DJs of Green Wave FM 106.5 MHz., Chill FM 89.0 MHz., and EFM FM 94.0 MHz., AtimeOnline application, fan pages about music, as well as GMM Official and White Music YouTube channels. MQDC expects to reach an audience of 10 million from this track completed under the ‘Imagine Happiness’ concept.

 

The music video of “Feel Like Home” will be available at Facebook fanpage/theforestias and GMM Official YouTube channel from 1 March 2019.
