Habitat Group engage JALUX subsidiary JRE Development to manage four Walden projects

Catering to a growing international clientele and the desire of discerning Thai buyers for international-standards of property management and service, Habitat Group have contracted JRE Development, a leading full-service property management company under JALUX Inc., to manage four projects under Habitat Group’s Walden brand, namely Walden Thonglor 8, Walden Thonglor 13, Walden Sukhumvit 39 and Walden Asoke.

Mr. Chanin Vanijwongse, Chief Executive Officer of Habitat Group, Thailand’s leading property-for-investment developer, commented, “Habitat Group’s aim is to develop quality properties and provide excellent services that answer the needs of both end-user residents and investors in luxury property. The luxury segment demands high quality products that are unique and offer an exceptional lifestyle, as well as healthy financial returns and the highest standard of service throughout.”

With a 30 year track record of delivering to the highest standards in Japan, and plans to expand across Southeast Asia markets within three years, JRE Development has been active in Thailand since 2015 and has a number of residential and serviced apartments currently under its management. Working closely with Habitat Group, they will provide full management services to four luxury low rise condominiums under the Walden Brand, and set a new bar in terms of service standards in Bangkok’s CBD while also instilling confidence in both investors and residents.

This fits well with our target buyer demographic as we expect 80% of Walden tenants to be Japanese. With plans to expand across South East Asia, JRE Development chose Thailand as its first international market outside of Japan because of the country’s strong fundamentals and market growth, as well as the 70,000-strong Japanese expat community that currently live in Thailand.

At the four Walden developments, JRE Development are offering two service packages: The Standard Menu of L’axe, and The L’axe Cafeteria Plan. The Standard Menu of L’axe includes, for example, room make-up services (two times a week), wifi, Japanese TV as standard, 1% of rental fees converted to JAL mileage rewards, and a 24-hour Japanese speaking liaison service. The L’axe Cafeteria Plan will offer the same with additional services available as per individual client needs. For example, tenants may request maid service, packaged/ monthly laundry service, airport limousine service and tenants liability insurance.
