Elderly care technology innovation, world-class universal design featured at sales gallery

In celebrating the pre-sale success of over 300 units, Jin Wellbeing County, the “New Residential Concept in Retirement”, today unveiled its sales gallery, offering an opportunity for customers and interested persons to fully experience how life would be in the residential complex. Based on the “Life Exploring” concept, the sales gallery, which is located on the actual project site, allows visitors to see the residential units in an almost realistic actual view, participating in various active living activities and innovations for elderly care, including tracking system and Jin Application.

Mr. John Lee, CEO, Jin Wellbeing County and Chairman of Premiere Home Healthcare Co., Ltd., the operator of the residential complex under Thonburi Hospital Group, said, “We are ready to launch the sales gallery at the actual project site. Based on the “Life Exploring” concept, the sales gallery is more than a place where customers have a look at the rooms. This is a replica of the project.

“The sales gallery and the activities we have here will allow customers, both senior and young seniors, to see what “Integrated Healthcare” means. Customers can see the show units, have a real experience of the real living and lifestyle, activities and classes that encourage active living, world-class universal design and many more. In the project, residents will also enjoy services previously available only in five-star hotels like concierge services, spa, treatment, nice restaurants, and cafés. We have a clinic for senior people, medical clinic, rehabilitation clinic and 24-hours emergency team.

“In addition to facilities and services, smart wristband and Jin Application will be offered for our residents to ensure that everyone will be treated exclusively well for their safety and superior standard of living. All our offerings will emphasize on Jin Wellbeing County’s leadership in the residential project segment for senior people as well as in the investment term.”

After the official launch in May, the project has received overwhelming response with over 300 units being reserved. The success is credited to the project’s uniqueness built especially tailored for senior living. After the launch, Jin Wellbeing County has sustained the momentum of the new concept of living in retirement via various activities, including The Golden Spirit Gallery photo exhibition and Jin The Golden Spirit Photo Contest.

Starting from November, Jin Wellbeing County storms the market with continuous campaign promoting the senior living residential complex and the sales gallery through both offline media, including television commercial, radio spot, newspaper ads and bill boards, and digital media. Jin Wellbeing County has sent out direct mail detailing project information to over 50,000 prospect customers nationwide. At the same time, the sales team has been strengthened as professional sales persons have been added to the team to handle both Thai and foreign customers. A special promotion was also offered to early bird customers reserving a unit from now until 30 November 2017, providing them with up to 350,000-baht special discount. The grand opening will be soon launched.

Jin Wellbeing County’s Sales Gallery is located on Paholyothin Road at the actual project site. Covering an area of 560 square meters, the sales gallery comprises four main parts. At the lobby, visitors will see the project model situated in the centre of the earth-tone hall decorated with marble-pattern materials. From the lobby, one can see the landscape of the project which resembles the actual landscape of the project, being it the stream, trees and rest area. Life Explore, the oval-shape hall displays video presentation allowing visitors to see how active living will be in the project. Life Exploring Class is the area where actual activities are planned for the residents and held to engage with visitors. The classes, held throughout November and December, include yoga, laughing therapy and learning classes. The last zone is Active Living where two types of showroom units are built for customers to discover the new active living experience. The 46-square metre room unit features daily living of active customers and young seniors. The 66-square metre room unit meanwhile allows visitors to see how life would be for senior persons who may need assistance in the future. All units are decorated with high quality materials and equipment designed for the elderly. More importantly, when looking through the windows, visitors will see the view they will actually see when the project is completed.

Considering technology for elderly care, Jin Wellbeing county offers a range of innovations that enhance residents’ safety and care, including the smart wristband and Jin Application. “Smart Wristband” embedded with tracking system can locate the wearer and send the information to the control center. The tracking system in the wristband also informs the wearer of their specific health information such as time to take medicine. With 3 Major function ; area detection , 1 push emergency and Fall Alert function, the smart wristband immediately alerts the control center when the wearer falls or have accidents and the center can then send a team for immediate help.  Jin Application, meanwhile, makes life easy for residents. It provides the residents with many services like recommending healthy menu, making appointment with doctors, booking activity class and calling shuttle bus service.

In terms of design, Jin Wellbeing County offers the best design for senior living. “One of the most important factors we consider in designing this project is how to create public and residential space where everyone can use at any stage in life, the concept known as “architecture for life”. Jin Wellbeing County is therefore designed to offer the largest possible green area as we encourage everyone to go out and interact with other people and the environment. We want to encourage active living. And, of course, visitors can also experience this even at the sales gallery,” Mr. Lee said.

Based on Universal Design principle, Jin Wellbeing County provides facilities that best address different needs of every resident, from the time they remain independent and healthy to the time that they need assistance or live on wheelchair. To achieve this goal, Cira Architects, which is a renowned architecture office from the US with great experience in designing senior homes, hospitals and large-scale projects, is responsible for the residential unit design. The main concept is to make each unit most comfortable to live and to offer relaxing atmosphere and close-to-nature feeling.

OpenBox Architects Co, the expert in building design, has brought their vast experience in large project design to Jin Wellbeing County. The result is a residential complex that is convenient, safe and well ventilated and maximizes natural light. At the same time, it encourages people to live actively and stay close to nature while enjoying the warm, loving and caring community.

Shma Co, a leading Thai landscape design studio, was invited to turn the project to a “Community in the Ravine Forest”. Nature-like environment is created to attract birds and insects into the green area in the project to build a sustainable ecological system. Green areas connect people with nature while offering spaces for residents to enjoy outdoor activities, including space for on-ground and farm to table organic garden designed with easy wheelchair access so everyone can enjoy.  A Bicycle track, jogging track and exercise area are designed and equiped with rough surface materials to reduce the risk of slip and fall.  Rest areas and seats are provided at different points. These tracks also connect various activity spaces together to create unity in the project.
